Oh I've been I'm selfish.

I know it.

Well it's not my fault, not really. You go from being an only child raised by your adoptive parents, who for a lack of a better reason probably did a bit too much for their rebellious teen, to being the baby sister in a family that was already pretty well established? That makes everything a bit more tricky. Not even Magick tricky.

So I was selfish when I first found out about having sisters, because it was a lot to consider. Take away all the instant family stuff and it was just a bit more than overwhelming.

[locked from those that do not know Magick exists]

So I maybe, kinda, sorta... stole... the Book of Shadows. I didn't quite grasp that whole Personal Gain thing, because well to be honest things were pretty crazy in that house and I was the last thing on their mind. So I borrowed the book. Well Piper will still probably claim I stole it, which in all fairness looking back on it? I pretty much agree.

At the time I wasn't even slightly prepared for what sort of power I had, let alone could unleash on the world. That whole power corrupts and all that? Sorta true. Oh, and the power requires responsibility thing too, I am a firm believer in that.

It was just so tempting to try and just fix everything that was getting all messed up in my life. I figured what good was the power if I couldn't use it to make things a teeny bit easier on myself. The big boobs that came from it all though? Yeah lesson learned.

Well maybe not, because we've all done somethings in the Magick community that could be viewed as not exactly kosher... is Kosher the right word? Do Jewish terms translate to the Magickal world? Anyway, we've all took risks and paid the price. Truth spells, love spells, lots of spells that end up costing us a bit more than we bargained for in the end.

At least in the end though? We know that we messed up, and we learn from it.

Paige hadn't been sleeping too easily these last few nights. Everything that had been going on lately with her Whitelighter status, and the 'jingles' that came any time of day or night it was getting to her a bit. She had barely been able to fall asleep before she would hear one of her charges call for her and she'd have to get up and Orb away to see what was the matter.

That night she heard the sound and just rolled over. "No. Not tonight. Sleep. I am sleeping. No on the jingle," was her muffled reply into the pillow. Her one eye opened a bit waiting for the noise to return to her head, but when it didn't she sighed in relief letting herself drift back off to sleep.

The hallway at Magick school seemed a lot longer to Paige, and she wondered why she hadn't bothered to grab her shoes before Orbing out of the house. It wasn't like her, but then again things had been sort of on the chaos side of things.

"Great, now I'm Sleep-Orbing. Fantastic!" huffed Paige beneath her breath trying to stay alert just in case whoever had called for her was hiding from something bigger. She was just thankful that she had actually been wearing a two piece set of pajamas, of course the oversized pieces of candy probably didn't make it look any more normal.

The other thing that wasn't helping was that the hallway didn't seem to end. Paige was pretty sure she had been walking for at least five minutes, and still hadn't made it to the grand hall. Sure demons had taken it over recently but that didn't mean they did massive remodeling. "Okay. What gives."

As soon as she said it the door on her right suddenly opened up scaring the hell out of her as she jumped back startled. "Okay! Okay! I can take a hint! Sheeesh!"

Paige shook her head a little miffed at everything and still confused moved through the door and tipped her head to the side, because there was Phoebe coming through a door on the opposite side of the door Paige had just entered. Paige also noticed that Phoebe was pajama clad as well.

"Okay, so this just got weirder right?"
