Oh what a confusing wicked web the truth can weave. You would think that such a simple word that is supposed to bring this feeling of relief, and maybe even some inner peace would actually be able to MESS EVERYTHING UP!!

See the truth isn't quite as easy for me as it is to all of you people. Yeah you people, the ones with the normal lives and the lack of actual thought beyond the whole, "Oh Magic is a nice story and a way to make a pumpkin into a stagecoach that is all pretty and white!" See for all of them the truth is just something they learn, and then deal with. It's how your son or daughter failed algebra even though you paid for that tutor... it's the teeny white lie that you told about actually paying for the bottle of water as you roamed the grocery store. See those things? Easy. You expose the lie, tell the truth and Phew! You feel a whole lot better.

Oh but for me? Well.. for me and my sisters even? The truth is ugly. It makes guys faint, run away, stop calling, stop coming by... stop saying hi... It makes the guys basically stop. Everything.

Of course there are ways around it, because you could go and try to get their honest reaction to something... you know just to test the waters? Well then the truth turns out to be how the guy is already married, and how much his wife would just love all the stuff you are telling him about.

See the truth? Sucks. It hurts and it confuses and generally? Doesn't set anything free.

Now going without a bra for a weekend? That is freeing.

Trust me.
It was odd how the Halliwell manor could be completely upside down on moment, with chaos and yelling and just a general air of confusion, and then completely calm the next. Phoebe had dropped the little bomb on them about Cole, and surprisingly they all handled it with relative ease. There was a lot of confusion and a few moments where Paige was almost ready to start the pop quiz to make sure that Phoebe was actually Phoebe, but seeing that she had on Paige's boots and hadn't actually asked? Paige knew it was her sister, and that for once in Phoebe's life she actually seemed happy in regards to Cole.

At least for the moment.

So Paige was happy to leave it at that and try to move on with her own little life, such as it was. She had a new charge, and was hoping that this one wouldn't be quite so tempermental when it came to actually listening to her. Orbing back home from one such not so stellar meeting with that exact charge she was stomping off toward the bathroom to pick leaves and twigs from her hair.

"Can't even aim a potion right... blows up a bush... like the shrub had anything... why do they always come to me... like I know more about these things..." Paige muttered under her breath eyes narrowed at her own reflection as each leaf was pulled and dropped into the waste basket. When the final leaf was out of her hair she exhaled slowly trying to be very with the out with the bad and in with the good mindset of things.

The doorbell rang and Paige shouted from the upstairs bathroom, "Can someone get that???"

However when there was no other sound coming from the manor except the sound of the doorbell again Paige glared at her reflection once more, "Of course. Everyone leaves the house and then I get stuck with the Jehovas Witness."

Orbing downstairs she straightened her shirt out a bit before putting on a pleasant 'I am not a witch' smile and opened the door to see a rather tall, rather attractive guy standing there, with a very 'is this the right house' look on his face.

"Can I help you?" Paige asked silently hoping to all that was good in the world that she could.
